Hello! I’m Marta. I read a lot, I write a little. This is my place on the internet.
Here are some books I think you should read:
- Crime and Punishment (1866) by the Russian author Fyodor Dostoevsky.
- Anna Karenina (Russian: Анна Каренина) (1878) by the Russian author Leo Tolstoy.
- The Counterfeiters (French: Les Faux-monnayeurs) (1925) by French author André Gide
- Their Eyes Were Watching God (1937) by American writer Zora Neale Hurston.
- The Tunnel (Spanish: El túnel) (1948) by Argentine writer Ernesto Sabato
- The Greek Myths (1955), a compendium of Greek mythology by Robert Graves.
- The Master and Margarita (Russian: Мастер и Маргарита) by Mikhail Bulgakov, written in the Soviet Union between 1928 and 1940 and published uncensored in 1973.
- Who was David Weiser? (1987) by Paweł Huelle.
- Caucasia (1998) by American author Danzy Senna.
- Anything by Olga Tokarczuk, but Primeval and other times (1996) is a good place to start.
- Andersen’s fairy tales, but look for the weird ones, like “The girl who trod on the loaf”.
But of course, you don’t have to listen to me. You do you, bubu ❤
